So I've had the worst roots for a while now and I can't afford to get my hair done living in Southern California. People charge almost $200 for a cut and color here. INSANE! But I can't wait till I start working in a salon here and I can charge that much. Ha. Anyways, I convinced Mark that he was a master stylist and that he would do a fabulous job coloring my hair!
So here is the end result. I know, it's really dark. It will lighten up though. Mark doesn't like me with dark hair. But it's going to be the cheapest thing for me to do down here. (You will have to excuse the weird face and me not looking at the camera. I don't like my picture being taken. So me taking a picture of myself was even worse.)

I like the dark. I had to go dark too and have left it that way do to being poor newlyweds as well. I have saved a lot of money not having to keep up with the roots. I miss my blonde at times but figured it is a sacrifice I will have to live with for now while we are poor grad students! Someday I will be able to afford the $200 haircut and it will all be worth the sacrificing I am going through now:)
Your hair looks really good. Maybe Mark should change professions.
