We tried giving Owen some rice cereal while we were camping in Santa Cruz over Memorial Day Weekend. He hated it. We tried again a couple weeks later. Still hated it. We tried oatmeal a week after that. He liked that a little better, but still didn't enjoy it.
Then we tried adding some apples to his oatmeal.
He loves it! He gets more food on me and himself then he actually eats. But he loves it!
